Prof. Ithamar Theodor’s research deals with the religions and philosophies of the Indian subcontinent and a comparative examination of them. He delves into Hinduism and compares Asian religions to Judaism. He examines and analyzes the Bhagavad Gita as a philosophical text; studies the structure of the Bhagavata Purana, a prominent medieval work; and explores Indian aesthetics. Additionally, Prof. Theodor engages in the study of Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy and modern Gandhian thought.
